Sharon Capps

My name is Sharon Capps and i am the president of Shipwatch Condominiums, Inc. located at North Topsail Beach, North Carolina. I have been a member of the HOA Board for eight years serving as treasurer and for the last two years as president. Over this period of time I have had many contacts with SFI Insurance, Scott Wheeler and his staff. The customer service delivered to me both personally and to our HOA has been prompt, competent, consistent and caring.

To be able to follow the fiduciary duty of a volunteer Board member, one is forced to rely on professionals that are trustworthy and dependable. These professionals are used to guide the board to make educated decisions. I consider Scott Wheeler to be one of those professionals who not only guide us but share their expertise enabling us to understand the complex world of the insurance business. Scott and his staff have consistently responded to all of our questions and concerns promptly.

Recently, we received damage from Hurricane Florence. This was an incredibly difficult situation as the board is comprised of volunteers and our damage was significant. Scott and his staff have been right there with us. During this incredibly busy time following the storm, all of our calls and infinite questions have been answered. Guidance and clarification of our HOA’s insurance coverage was given, many times. Each time these calls were met with patience and concern. The Board and I feel that SFI Insurance and Scott Wheeler have been our rock in the storm’s aftermath.
